Welcome to Phil’s Corner - June 2010

With the 2010 Golf Season in full swing, respect and care of the course is not just the responsibility of the Grounds crew, it is everyone who plays as well.

Remember to always replace divots or fill the divot with sand. We have sand in every power cart. There is sand boxes on the par 3s, fill in your and any other divot you see.
When we reach the putting surface please repair you ball mark, as well as any others you see. I always fix 3 or 4 ball marks on every green I step onto.

When hitting out of any sand trap, rake it the best you can. Nice and ready for the next player to hit out of.

If we want great playing conditions we must all lend a hand. Make it a simple routine to fix and repair any damage you do to turf and grounds.

Also power carts and pull carts should stay clear greens and tee boxes. Please stay clear of those precious green areas, as well as use the 90-degree rule on all parts of the course.

If everyone does their part to keep the course in shape, we all can enjoy great conditions all summer long.

All the best this golf season, hit it long and straight.

Please let us know if there is anything thing we can help you with.

Call or visit me anytime.
