Welcome to Phil’s Corner - April 2010

With the 2010 Golf Season coming into full swing the fun is about to begin.
With all the excitement of getting out onto the links and that great feeling of hitting that ball down the fairway comes the fact that accidents happen.

We have just had our a Very Serious accident, resulting in a very serious eye injury, where someone has been hit by an oncoming shot before the group in front was clear of not only the putting green but the cart path as well..

So it is time to talk about Safety First.

We at the golf course stress pace of play and keep up to the group in front of you, but we must always allow for that group in front to get clear of the entire area (CART PATH etc) before we hit our approaching shot.
You never know when you are going to hit the perfect shot or push or pull it. We always say ” I never hit it that far”. But sometimes we just catch a good one.
The last thing anyone needs to have happen is to catch the ball perfect before the group ahead is clear.

Remember we are here to have fun and enjoy the day and company out on the Golf Course.
Be patient, but keep pace. No need to be upset with slow play, when we get busy that is just the way it is.
Patience…

All the best this golf season, hit long and straight and SAFELY.

Please let us know if there is anything thing we can help you with.
